For over 35 years FT has been chronicling the stranger side of life, delivering a mix of weird world news, up-to-date reports and features on every aspect of the unexplained: myths, monsters, ghosts, UFOs and conspiracy theories.
All the subscriptions are auto-renewable subscription directly from the App Store. Payment will be charged to your App Store Account at confirmation of purchase. This subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period, your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal will match the initial subscription price. You can manage your subscriptions through your Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

It isnt free???!
I have enjoyed Fortean Times over the last decade or so and when it came out on my iPad I figured "great, no more spotty mail delivery". Unfortunately the app is less than ideal if you want to view your purchases in anything other than portrait view. I mean forget the unnecessary things like page flipping animation, in landscape view the spread is minimized to a corner and can only be enlarged to fit the screen if you manually stretch it with your fingers. Side note... that only works for the page you are on and you will have to do it for every consecutive page you turn to. I guess I can view it on portrait mode but the case I keep the iPad in makes this a clumsy venture.
Long time reader and subscriber... Very happy to give up my American subscription (Im not a fan of the US distributor) in favor of a Newsstand edition.
"Free" means only the app to see what magazines you want to pay for. Disingenuous at best, dishonest at worst.
App crashes immediately after I launch it! All I get to see is a title screen, and thats it! Terrible app! Huge disappointment
